If you coach soccer you have probably encountered the frustration of not knowing EXACTLY how to help your players improve their skills and deepen their confidence. As a soccer coach for almost a decade, I know I have many times. That became FAR LESS of a problem as soon as I discovered the SoccerU training program. Who is the program designed for?
Coach "V" from SoccerU states that the package is designed for coaches, players and parents. I agree, with a few concerns. Putting this package into the hands of a standard U.S. soccer parent might not be worth it. It really is so comprehensive and in depth, I think most parents wouldn't get through the first DVD before giving up.
I have a similar concern for young soccer players. If your 15+ year old is looking to improve their skills ... then it would work well. But a 12 year old is not going to have the personal discipline to sit down and work through these videos.
It really is perfect for the coach who cares to build individual soccer players to their full potential and create a winning team. It takes patience, though. I personally haven't moved beyond the first DVD with my current U12 team. This skills taught in this DVD set will span age groups from U8 up to college and even professional skill sets.
